A brief background behind where it all began...
Hi, I'm Danielle Deutsch.
I earned my Bachelors of Fine Art Degree with an emphasis in photography from Arizona State University in 2010 where I developed a deep joy for recording light in darkrooms. However, shortly after graduation I found myself on a local film set shooting still photos and mesmerized watching a village ban together to produce visual stories.
The most organized student film set I've ever been on.

The images above was one of the most organized film sets I'd ever seen and where I first learned what value story artists can bring to directors and crews. This set me on a new mission to develop my drawing chops into something that will help film sets run smoothly. I know I am inexperienced... There is A LOT to think about when I make a quick story drawing. It often overwhelms my autistic mind and that is why I am sharing my work now because I believe the only way to become experienced is through learning on the job. If you or someone you know can help me on my mission kindly send me an e-mail with the form below. Thank you.
Cheers,
Danielle Deutsch
